
The San Francisco Bay Area missed out on hosting the biggest world soccer stars like Lionel Messi or Christino Ronaldo for the 2026 FIFA World Cup games at Levi’s Stadium and instead will host smaller countries like Qatar, Austria, Jordan, and Paraguay. After months of anticipation, the World Cup Draw took place on Friday, Dec. 5th. Here are the teams that will play games at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara during the 2026 World Cup.
Saturday, June 13, 2026: Qatar vs. Switzerland, 12 pm PDT
Tuesday, June 16, 2026: Austria vs. Jordan, 9 pm PDT
Friday, June 19, 2026: Turkey vs. Paraguay, 9 pm PDT
Monday, June 22, 2026: Jordan vs. Algeria, 8 pm PDT
Thursday, June 25, 2026: Paraguay vs. Australia, 7 pm PDT
Levi’s Stadium will also host a round of 32 game, including the winner of Group D, which could be the United States if they top their group, versus a third-place finisher on Wednesday, July 1st.
Expanded for the first time to 48 teams, the 2026 FIFA World Cup will start on June 11, 2026, with a game at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. The final will occur on July 19, 2026, in New York/New Jersey.
