SF Bay Area to host six 2026 FIFA World Cup matches

FIFA announced today that Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara will host six games in the 2026 FIFA World Cup in June and July of 2026.

Levi’s stadium will host five group stage games and one round of thirty-two game.

The group stage games will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026; Tuesday, June 16, 2026; Friday, June 19, 2026; Monday, June 22, 2026; and Thursday, June 26, 2026. The round of 32 match will take place on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

Expanded for the first time to 48 teams, The 2026 FIFA World Cup will start on June 11, 2026, with a game at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. The final will occur on July 19, 2026, in New York/New Jersey.
