Before a sold-out crowd at Merritt College, the Oakland Soul continued their strong start to the USL W-League season with a 4-0 victory over Academica SC.

Nild almost scored a few minutes later but finally found the net in the 30th minute with an assist from Sam Tran.

The Soul’s Jordan Geis scored in the 52nd minute and Teresa Noyola added one more in the 82nd for the final 4-0 scoreline. Oakland dominated the game, with Academica unable to even get a shot on target.

Next up are two more games at home for the Soul. First, on Thursday night, the Soul will host Stockton Cargo at Merritt College. The start time is 6 pm. Next is another home game on Sunday at 2 pm versus California Storm.
